The GFG Commercial Readiness Framework is a proprietary framework developed by GFG Advisory to evaluate the international commercial readiness of Mexican organizations. This page describes what the framework measures, why it matters, and how it should be cited.

What is measured

We do not measure an organization's operational, technical or professional capability. We measure its commercial interface: what an international decision-maker can find, understand, verify and act on without prior contact.

The six dimensions

Framework dimensions
DimensionQuestion it answers
PositioningIs it clear what the organization does, and for whom, in evaluable terms?
International PresenceDoes the organization exist, with quality, in the buyer's language and context?
Proof and CredibilityCan evidence be verified without asking the organization for it?
DiscoverabilityDoes the organization appear where the shortlist is built?
Buyer ConversionCan a buyer move from interest to inquiry without friction?
Commercial Follow-UpIs there ownership, cadence and standard after first contact?

Why it matters

In engagement observation, most capable organizations do not lose international opportunities for lack of capability. They lose them because that capability is not legible, verifiable or actionable for a buyer evaluating from another country. The framework organizes that gap into six dimensions so it can be discussed and corrected at leadership level.

Levels of application

The free assessment gives a preliminary, self-reported reading. The Audit gives an evidence-verified, senior-reviewed assessment. Both use the same framework at different levels of rigor; they are neither interchangeable nor comparable with each other.

Stated limitations

  • The framework measures the observable commercial interface, not delivery quality.
  • Public signals change; every measurement is dated.
  • A preliminary self-reported reading is not equivalent to a verified assessment.
  • No aggregate results are published until the observation base is sufficient and auditable.
